We frequently receive requests inquiring about missing relatives or friends who
at one time lived in the Far East of Russia. We can assist you in tracking down
loved ones with whom you lost contact during the Communist persecution.
We work in the Primorye region of Russia, at the end of the Trans-Siberian Railroad. Because all records are public information in Russia, we have access to many public records even for those who lived in areas other than the Far East. We can explore public records such as birth, death, and marriage certificates; occupational and educational records; fraternal and church rosters; and census records.
We have several parishioners who are trained in this type of work and are equipped with laptop computers. Please note that although we guarantee the work will be done, we cannot guarantee results. For a fee of $100.00 we will offer you a complete initial search of public documents, with a written report supplied to you in English 30 days from receipt of payment.
Please send check or money order, as well as the information requested below, to:
Mary Mother of God Mission Society 1854 Jefferson Ave St. Paul, MN 55105
Please include as much of the following information as known. If you do not have much information, we can still start the search. Many times new information surfaces.
